New home!

Yay! After taking a whirl-wind trip to Nebraska this past weekend, we bought a home! We flew out on Thursday night with a lay-over in Denver. However, our plane in SLC was 1 1/2 hours late, so we missed our connecting flight. The hotels were booked in Denver, so we had to spend the night in the airport.  We didn't want to drive a half hour to a hotel, only to turn around and come back a few hours later to catch an early flight (7 am). Tyson was awesome!  Luckily we had our stroller and the middle part laid flat, so we put a blanket down and he slept better than he does at home! Wish we could say the same for us. Anyways, with much searching and deliberating for 2 quick days we decided to build a home! Thank goodness houses in Nebraska are so insanely cheap! This is a picture of the model.  Now I can be a little more excited to move out there.

Cute house! Congrats on graduating and moving out to the real world! That's so exciting you're buying a house. That would cost about 1.7 million in our neighborhood (which is why don't own a home here) - talk about a steal of a deal for you!

YAHOO for you! how lucky. I'm glad your trip was successful. THe house looks really cute. I hope you like it in Nebraska. Ryan's talking Kansas again, so who knows we might be closer that we are now :)!Why these boys want to live where they do I'll never know. Jobs...who needs em'!I think it's awesome you're getting a new one too, that makes it that much better I'm sure.

Congrats on the new home. When are you moving? Every time I see my cousin Julie (her boys have been in your class) she always raves about you. She is really going to miss you:) Good luck with everything!

Our feelings on this are pretty mixed. The house looks great, and we are so excited for you guys! On the other hand, the fact that you're buying a house makes it very real that you're leaving us! We've known that was coming for a while, but now it's for real. Sad for us, but so exciting that you guys get to move on to that next step. Congratulations! OH, and I have to say that I'm amazed that you made it so well through your airport ordeal. I'm pretty sure that when I was a new mom with my first new baby I would not have handled that quite as gracefully as it sounds like you did. Brava!

What a cute house! I am jealous! I feel like we will be in an apartment for the rest of our lives! Even when Matt is done with school, we will probably be in an apartment till we're done paying off loans! :) So...we might own a house in 30 years! :)

Okay so I just read your comment on Kristi's blog about her hair and that was hilarious! I must say that you're pretty darn funny. I have some serious competition in the family! Plus....I don't even know the 12 apostles and you do, so you're always winning!
