Bathtub dilemma

Tyson is quickly outgrowing his bathtub. Lengthwise and width wise. I'm afraid to to put him in the big tub, since he can't sit up. Poor kid gets cold because he knocks all the water out! I was hoping we would get more use out of this tub, but I guess when your child is baby King Kong, you have to make due with what ya got. Yes folks, we just barely turned 4 months old and we love him to pieces!

I LOVE your baby king kong! Give him lots of kisses on his chubby cheeks from aunt Jackie. What a cutie. Isn't it amazing how much you can love someone (other than your hubby), you don't realize it until you're a momma! I loved the strategically placed washcloth in these pictures :) Aren't boys fun! And can you tell momma Turner hello from me? She commented on my blog but I don't know her email. I loved hearing from her and miss your AZ family lots! Hope to talk to you soon.

He's a chunchy money! Love it! When my little ones became not so little I would double up a towel and lay it in the bottom of the bathtub and lay them on that. It gave a little cushion. I only filled the bathtub a little so the water wouldn't get in their ears but they seemed to not mind laying on their backs!

oh my gosh....he is so dang cute. They have these cool things you can get that they can lay on in the tub and it props their head up. It's like a little sling. Hard to describe, but you can get them at walmart for like $5.00 in the baby section. Lincoln loves his:)

Super cute! I just got caught up on your latest posts...sirens? tornados? Isn't that only in the movies???/ I cannot believe that you are actually LIVING there where that actually happens to real life people!! CRAZY! totally bring the camping chairs next time...smart move.

Tyson really is a tank. I say go for the bathtub, you'll be surprised how well he'll do. I remember it being so hard with Justin to put him in the bath. I swear, I bathed him in the sink till he was like, 10 months...crazy i know. But I just couldn't figure out how to make him not slip in the tub. Jordan has only taken like ten baths in the sink...I think there's something special about experience, you'll get it!! So cute!

PS I have to agree with your friend the johnstons and the tub sling thing she bought for Lincoln. It's like a sling in a frame that raises the head up. Justin calls it a ramp. That's exactly what I use for Jordan and it's great. and yeah, 5 bucks, totally worth it.

Hey I just got your comment on my blog and I stopped filming when that little bird jumped up on the edge and turned to jump back in and it fell out. SO i ran out and chased it back behing the pot and Addi and Crue sat on one side and we just kept scaring it back and forth, fast little sucker, until it couldn't hit the brakes fast enough and I caught it! My mommy senses kicked in and I just wanted to cuddle it, maybe nurse it a little, HE HE, but I fought off the urge and put it back in the pot for a time out!! Thanks for your concern mommy Kim!! The next day they were all trying to get out, and I'm sure it was time for them to get out but they couldn't! I had to put some little home made stairs in there so they would finally jump out and when I came home from the dentist they were all gone but one! SO Sad! I just picked it up and let it go. I didn't want it to die in my pot on my porch! I'm sure it found it's mommy and their at the water park right now since it's 110 degrees! Don't you miss it here? SOrry for the novel, very important info!
