Christmas was different this year...fun... but different. With Scott not being able to take some time off work, we stayed behind in Nebraska and had a mini family Christmas. Before I show those pictures, here is a video of Tyson as a crawling machine. There are ups and downs to it. I love that he no longer cries when I leave his sight, he just comes to find me instead and stops to enjoy objects around him. He is a ton happier now that he can move. However, he is one curious George and likes to "explore" his surroundings. He crawls with a big, almost mischievous, smile.

Here is our tree and gifts laid out ready for Christmas morning. Then there is Tyson and Scott coming down the stairs. I love how Tyson is overlooking all the goodies waiting just for him.

I love this picture of Tyson because his mom is making him sit for a picture and all he wants to do it go get his toys!Call us bad parents but we only got Tyson one toy (plus some little gadgets in his stocking) but he won't remember. Luckily he got spoiled by his grandparents too. So anyway, we got this Lion walk-to-ride toy where the seat fold up to have a handle which he can push around to help him walk. He liked it alright....
...However, we grossly underestimated how big our child really is. He towers over his little toy. We were decieved by the 9-36 months label on the box. Do we have to start getting 5T toys now??Tyson enjoying more of his toys

We went over to a couple in our wards home for some light snacks and sandwiches and by the time we got him back loaded in our to head home, he was pooped! Christmas is hard work! Our attempt at a family Christmas picture.

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!

So cute! I love the picture of Tyson all bundled up asleep in his carseat. What a pain to bundle up like that everytime. We missed you this Christmas. You should have flown to CA it would have been crazy.

I'm glad you had a good Christmas!! I can't believe how tall Tyson is. He's starting to lose some of his baby chub and you can really see how LONG he is. Very cute pictures. I see you got a sewing machine Kim. YEAH!! Now you need some fun new projects like drapes or pillows for your new house! Unless you are still unpacking like I am....then you can worry about drapes and pillows later!!

What a great fun family day. We only get our kids one gift too...they get enough from the grandparents, aunts and uncles and Santa for our gifts to even be remembered!!

That walker thing is gonna be great! That's totally how Justin started walking.

Jordan is now crawling too. He crawled at a couple days over 10 months. It a bitter sweet for sure!!!

I laughed so hard at the lion picture. Seriously, maybe you should call me and ask me what I buy Cole so that you then can buy accordingly for Tyson.

I love that he is too big for toys that are his age range! He is so stinkin' cute.
Congrats to you for moving in, and decorating for the holiday. You had a busy month! I'm glad you had some friends to hang out with!
yes....staying in Kansas where there aren't any people would have helped us out with all the medical bills we'll be getting! Seriously, being isolated has its advantages!!;)

We only get our kids one toy each as well. They get so much after the gifts from grandparents that they really don't need any more than that! It looks like you guys had fun despite not being around more of your family. Your family portraits are gorgeous, by the way. What a photogenic family! We hope that you are doing well and continuing to enjoy your new house!

What a fun little Christmas together. I do have to say, Farmington was colder than you today, and right now we have 3 degrees on you! No sympathy here :) Hey, I know it's a little late, but I finally found you a Christmas present! Just go here: http://homestarrunner.com/sbemail44.html

If that doesn't bring back college memories in Brenda's room, nothing will! Love you all. When are you coming to Utah again?
